IG Punjab Rewards Top Performing Police Teams from Multiple Regions

Lahore, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded certificates and cash prizes to the top performing officers and officials from Lahore, Jhelum, and Sheikhupura for their outstanding efforts in combating crime. The ceremony took place at the Central Police Office (CPO) where 69 police members from various districts were recognized for their exemplary service.

According to Punjab Police, awards were distributed among several teams, including one from Lahore, four from Sheikhupura, seven each from Kasur and Nankana, and one from Jhelum. Dr. Anwar emphasized the importance of intelligence-based operations to protect the lives and properties of citizens and to intensify the fight against organized crime. He reiterated that the recognition serves not just as a reward but also as motivation for further excellence in service.
