IIOJK Authorities Detain Man Under Controversial Act in Jammu

Jammu: Indian police have detained a man under the contentious Public Safety Act (PSA) in the Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the detained individual has been identified as Abdul Majeed, a resident of Sunjwan. Officials claim that Majeed posed a serious threat to public peace and tranquility.

Authorities reported that multiple cases have been filed against Majeed at the Police Station, Channi. Consequently, he was detained under the PSA and is currently lodged in Amphalla district jail in Jammu.
