Jammu: Deputy Chief Minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary, has stated that the new government is committed to addressing the people’s needs and aspirations, particularly the demand for statehood.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a news conference in Jammu, Surinder Choudhary emphasized the government’s dedication to fulfilling the expectations of the people, tackling the economic issues of the occupied region, and advocating for the restoration of full statehood to IIOJK. He also acknowledged the challenges faced by the government following the recent elections in the region.

Choudhary highlighted the National Conference’s commitment to reinstating the Darbar Move, describing it as essential for Jammu’s economic health rather than just a tradition. He explained that the Darbar Move supports local hotels, transport services, and small businesses, providing employment opportunities for many residents.
