Illegal Immigration Will Not Be Tolerated at All: Naqvi

Lahore: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated emphatically that illegal immigration will not be tolerated at all. During a surprise visit to Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, Naqvi highlighted the government’s firm stance on the issue, emphasizing that no passenger will be allowed to travel abroad if they have the potential to tarnish Pakistan’s reputation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain, who was also present during the visit, instructed that the verification of employment documents for passengers traveling under the Protector should be conducted without fail. This step is seen as crucial in ensuring that only legitimate travelers are allowed to proceed, thereby safeguarding the country’s international image.

The visit underscores the government’s commitment to addressing illegal immigration and ensuring compliance with international travel norms. The measures discussed are part of a broader strategy to enhance the verification process and prevent any activities that could negatively impact the country’s standing abroad.
