IMF Approves $1.32 Billion Financing for Pakistan

Islamabad: The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund has approved $1.32 billion in financing for Pakistan under its Extended Fund Facility and Resilience and Sustainability Facility programs.

According to Radio Pakistan, this approval brings the total disbursements under the two arrangements to approximately $4.8 billion. The IMF statement highlighted that Pakistan’s strong implementation of the programs, even amidst the challenges posed by the Middle East war, has maintained economic stability and improved both financing and external conditions.
