IMF to Review Pakistan’s Extended Fund Facility Program on September 25

Islamabad: The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Executive Board is set to review the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program for Pakistan later this month, as part of an ongoing assessment of the country’s economic reforms and fiscal stability measures.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a press briefing in New York, IMF’s spokesperson Julie Kozack highlighted that a staff-level agreement was reached with Pakistan regarding the EFF on July 12th. She credited consistent policy implementation for bolstering economic stability within the country.
