Implementation Committee of SIFC Discusses Completion of Projects and Policy Actions

Karachi: The 10th meeting of the Implementation Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) discussed completion of various projects and policy actions related to the performance of provinces. During the meeting, key points related to the health, industry, and energy sectors were discussed.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministries updated the committee on the progress of ongoing projects and policy-level initiatives. The role of the Drug Regulatory Authority in facilitating the export of both medicines and plasma collected from blood was highlighted. Provinces expressed confidence in the practical role of SIFC, which has successfully brought together all government entities on one platform.

The committee appreciated the role of the Punjab government in collaborating with SIFC to attract investments from Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Company and Three Gorges China Company. The committee issued directives to federal and provincial stakeholders to accelerate the completion of ongoing projects, aiming to facilitate investments in priority sectors.
