Imran Reviews Progress on PM’s Ramazan Relief Package

Islamabad: Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmad Shah chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad with Partner Financial Institutions and representatives of the State Bank of Pakistan to review preparedness and progress on the Prime Minister’s Ramazan Relief Package 2026.

According to Radio Pakistan, he appreciated the proactive role and close coordination of PFIs and SBP in ensuring timely implementation of the relief package. Emphasizing urgency, the Minister for Poverty Alleviation directed that account creation and activation for beneficiaries be carried out at full scale, with disbursement of funds accelerated over the coming days.

He stressed the need for immediate mobilization of all remaining beneficiaries to ensure seamless account activation and onward crediting, in line with the Prime Minister’s directives.
