Inaugural Ceremony of 10th Batch of Punjab Police Internship Held at Central Police Office

Lahore: The inaugural ceremony of the 10th batch of the Punjab Police Internship Program was held at the Central Police Office. According to Punjab Police, the 10th batch of the student internship includes 62 students from the BS Criminology degree programs of Punjab University and the University of Lahore. DIG Training Punjab Rao Munir Zia briefed the students about the features of the internship program and stated that the enrolled students have been attached to various field formations for a six-week duration.

Punjab Police spokesperson stated that the students will be briefed on field policing, crime prevention, and public service delivery projects. Comprehensive orientation will also be provided regarding different stages of policing in departments such as the Special Branch, Safe City Authority, and Investigation Wing. Students will also present their observation-based presentation reports at the end of the internship. DIG Training Rao Munir Zia mentioned that Punjab Police is promoting direct engagement with students in the fields of education and research, and the student internship program will provide valuable guidance for their career development.
