Indian Activities Along LoC Under Scrutiny

Islamabad: Indian sabotage activities along the Line of Control (LoC) have been exposed again.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the details of Indian military and intelligence agencies’ efforts to spread unrest in the peaceful areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have come to light.

Security sources indicate that India has a history of unprovoked firing and sabotage activities targeting civilians along the LoC. There have been 54 incidents of IED planting by India since 2016, with increasing occurrences in areas such as Chakothi, Nezapir, and Kot Kotera. These explosions have resulted in civilian casualties.

Sources also noted a rise in India’s subversive activities, including the transportation of IEDs, weapons, and drugs in regions like Bagh and Battal. Between February 4-6, 2025, four Indian IEDs were discovered in the Battal sector, resulting in civilian casualties. On February 12, 2025, a ceasefire violation by Indian forces in the Dewa and Bagsar sectors injured two Pakistani soldiers.

Pakistan has lodged protests with India regarding these activities and has shared evidence with UN officials. The report suggests that India has conducted false flag operations and fake encounters to accuse the Pakistani military of infiltrations.

Security sources also allege that weapons are smuggled through double agents, who are later killed by the Indian military and presented as Pakistani infiltrators. An incident from November 2022 involving an Indian soldier attempting to hide a weapons cache was highlighted.

Defence experts emphasize that India’s actions pose a threat to regional peace and security. They claim that India’s activities are attempts to cover up its failures in occupied Kashmir and to alter the region’s demographic makeup.

Experts warn that India’s accusations against Pakistan aim to divert attention from its own actions. Before Indian Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the U.S., India is allegedly trying to portray Pakistan as a supporter of terrorism on the global stage, with evidence of Indian sabotage activities found in other countries as well.

The killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada and the conspiracy to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in the U.S. are cited as part of India’s broader strategy. Experts caution that such actions could escalate tensions and endanger regional security.
