Indian Army Para Commando Killed, Five Injured in Rajouri Road Accident

Jammu: A tragic road accident in the Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the death of an Indian army para commando and injuries to five others. The incident occurred late evening when their vehicle, engaged in counterinsurgency operations, skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased has been identified as Lance Naik Baljeet Singh. The accident took place in the Mankote area, where the commandos were performing their duties. The vehicle they were traveling in suffered extensive damage, leading to significant casualties among the occupants.

Officials further noted that one of the injured army personnel is in critical condition, raising concerns about the possibility of more fatalities. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, and further details are awaited as the army and local authorities are handling the situation.
