Indian Army Soldier Dies in Accidental Fire in Baramulla

Srinagar: An Indian army soldier was killed in an accidental discharge of fire in the Hyderbeigh, Palhallan area of Baramulla district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, officials reported that the soldier, identified as Sandeep Kumar, died after his service rifle accidentally went off, causing severe injuries.

Kumar was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment, where medical staff declared him dead upon arrival.

Local police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have registered a case to determine the precise circumstances leading to the accidental discharge.
