Indian BSF Soldier Commits Suicide in West Bengal

Kolkata: An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) soldier has taken his own life in the Kalaighati Dinhata area of Cooch Behar district, West Bengal.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Prajapati Ankit Kumar, a member of the 45th Cooch Behar battalion stationed at Kalaighati, shot himself with his service weapon during duty hours. Kumar was promptly taken to a nearby hospital following the incident, where he was declared dead.
