Indian CISF Constable Commits Suicide in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: In what portrays a disturbing trend among Indian armed forces, another Indian Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable committed suicide in Gujarat.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the 32-year-old Indian Central Industrial Security Force constable identified as Kisan Singh was deployed at Surat airport, died by shooting himself in the stomach with his service rifle. The deceased was a resident of Jaipur.

The CISF has not released an official statement on the matter, but authorities have confirmed that Singh’s family has been notified.
