Indian Forces Intensify Search Operations in Poonch and Rajouri Districts

Jammu: A significant escalation in military activities has been reported in the Poonch and Rajouri districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where Indian troops have initiated extensive cordon and search operations (CASOs).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations, involving both Indian military and paramilitary forces, are concentrated in the Mohri Shahstar in the Gursai Top area of Poonch district. These actions were prompted by intelligence reports suggesting the presence of mujahideen in the area, leading to the deployment of advanced surveillance technologies, including drones and sniffer dogs, supported by helicopter patrols.

In the Rajouri district, the search operations have extended to Kundan and the adjoining villages in the Shadra Sharief area. Officials have not yet provided specific details on the findings or the duration these operations are expected to last.
