Indian Forces Kill Tribal Leader in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Indian forces’ personnel killed a tribal leader, Vikram Gowda, in Karnataka state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Vikram Gowda was killed in a fake encounter at Sitambailu, near Kabbinale in Udupi district of the state. Indian authorities have claimed that Gowda was a senior Naxal commander and was killed in an anti-Naxal operation.

Since the beginning of November, Indian Anti-Naxal Forces (ANF) personnel have been conducting operations in the Chikkamagaluru and Udupi districts.
