Indian Forces Martyr Youth During Search Operation in IIOJK

Doda: The Indian army-controlled Special Operations Group personnel have martyred a youth during a cordon and search operation in Doda district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Radio Pakistan, the youth, identified as Aarif Hussain, was martyred after he was intercepted by SOG personnel during the operation along the Jaie-Gandoh Road in the Bhaderwah area of the district.

During the scuffle, one of the armed SOG personnel opened indiscriminate fire in which Aarif Hussain was martyred, while three police personnel were injured in the incident. During the operation, Indian forces also arrested a religious preacher.

Additional contingents of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force and police have been deployed in Bhaderwah town, while Indian forces’ personnel continued the search operation in the Jaie area. All roads to the area were blocked, and media personnel were barred from entering, preventing monitoring of the situation.
