Indian Paramilitary Officer Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Srinagar

Srinagar: An officer of the Indian paramilitary force, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has died of a suspected cardiac arrest in Srinagar district, located in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident occurred at the SSB 10th Battalion camp situated at Tattoo Ground in the Batamaloo area.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the officer, identified as HC Mahantesh Bairana, experienced a massive cardiac arrest while on duty. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, where medical staff pronounced him dead upon arrival.

In an unrelated incident, at least 15 individuals sustained injuries in a stray dog attack in Budgam town, causing alarm among residents in the area on Monday morning.
