Indian Soldier Killed During Search Operation in Kashmir

Srinagar: An Indian Army soldier was killed during a cordon and search operation in the Sopore town of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the operation was initiated by Indian troops in the Zaloora Gujjarpati area of Sopore and has continued into the following day. The search operation was ongoing at the time of the latest reports.

In a separate incident, an Indian army personnel reportedly committed suicide by using his service rifle at Ragni Post in Kupwara district.
