Indian Troops Engage in Extended Search Operations in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: Indian military forces have been conducting extensive cordon and search operations across various districts in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, with ongoing engagements reported in several regions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations initiated on Friday in Kishtwar, Reasi, and Samba districts are ongoing. The Indian forces’ efforts intensified following a gunfight that broke out Friday evening in the Chassana area of Reasi district.

Further clashes were reported in the Chatroo area, triggered by intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants. Indian police officials noted that additional forces have been deployed to support the ongoing operations, with updates still pending.

In a related development, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has reported the recovery of a significant arsenal near the RS Pura area of Jammu district. Early morning searches led to the discovery of two pistols, four magazines, 20 rounds of 9 mm ammunition, one AK-47 rifle, two AK-47 magazines, and 17 rounds of AK-47 ammunition.
