Indian Troops Initiate Search Operation in Poonch

Jammu: Indian troops have initiated a cordon and search operation in the Poonch district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir. This operation is currently ongoing in the Dalan village of the Degwar sector.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the troops commenced the search operation earlier today. Indian officials reported the recovery of a ready-to-use improvised explosive device (IED) during the operation.

The operation is reported to be continuing as per the latest available information.
