Indian Troops Launch Cordon-and-Search Operation in Jammu

Jammu: Indian troops initiated a cordon-and-search operation in the Jammu district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, gunshots were reported along the International Border in the RS Pura Sector earlier in the day, as confirmed by a police officer. The officer stated that the operation was launched in response to the incident.

The operation was still underway at the time of the latest reports.
