India’s Illegal Actions in IIOJK Blatant Violation of UN Resolutions: Rizwan

Washington dc: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has stated that India’s unilateral and illegal actions in the illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir are a blatant violation of United Nations resolutions and a clear manifestation of its intransigence. He made these remarks during a special webinar organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador emphasized that Kashmir Solidarity Day represents Pakistan’s unwavering moral, diplomatic, and political support for the Kashmiri people and their right to self-determination. He highlighted the unresolved Kashmir dispute as a significant concern, questioning the effectiveness of the UN in addressing such issues. The Ambassador underscored the need for careful scrutiny of the legal aspects of the Kashmir dispute, particularly following India’s actions on August 5, 2019, and the situation in Gaza.

Rizwan Saeed Sheikh warned that neglecting the resolution of the Kashmir dispute poses a risk to both regional and global peace.
