India’s NIA Conducts Raids in Multiple Districts of Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) initiated search operations and house raids across several districts in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The operations were carried out in collaboration with Indian paramilitary and police personnel.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the NIA conducted these operations in the districts of Kupwara, Reasi, Doda, Udhampur, Ramban, and Kishtwar. The raids led to the arrest of Muneer Ahmad Banday, a Kashmiri businessman from the Handwara area of Kupwara district. Banday was detained in connection with an old case, where he has been accused of being an over-ground worker by Indian agencies.

The house raids and searches continued in various villages and towns across the districts as reports last surfaced.
