India’s Territorial Army Soldier Missing in Occupied Kashmir

Srinagar: A “Territorial Army” (TA) soldier has gone missing in the Islamabad district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the soldier disappeared from the Achabal area of Islamabad. Identified as Abid Hussain, the soldier was associated with the 162 unit and was reportedly on a month-long leave to visit his home. Hussain is a resident of Kharpora Chattar Gul in the district.

Local authorities have initiated a search operation to locate the missing soldier. A police officer confirmed that efforts are underway to find him. The Territorial Army is a reserve force that comprises part-time volunteers.
