Info Minister Condemns PTI Social Media for Targeting State Institutions

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has strongly condemned the PTI’s social media accounts for targeting state institutions. Speaking in the National Assembly today, he stated that every Pakistani rejects this campaign.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister mentioned that the Speaker repeatedly offered opportunities for dialogue between the government and the opposition, but regretted that the PTI consistently sabotaged the process. He noted that, while in government, the PTI resorted to tactics against political opponents and detained the top leadership of the PML-N. Despite this, the then opposition leader, Shehbaz Sharif, offered the government a Charter of Economy.

Regarding the recent by-elections, the Information Minister said the PTI boycotted the political process and is now making allegations to cover its political mistake.
