Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has congratulated Mian Rauf Atta on being elected as the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
In a statement issued today, the Information Minister said the lawyer community has elected an outstanding individual as the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association. He emphasized the vital role that lawyers play as defenders of democracy, human rights, and the Constitution.
The Information Minister said lawyers have a significant role in promoting the rule of law, upholding constitutional supremacy, and advancing democratic traditions.
He also expressed hope that the newly-elected president and other office-bearers would continue to contribute positively to the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law.
Attaullah Tarar hoped that winning panel will effectively address the issues facing the lawyer community and play a crucial role in important judicial matters
