Info Minister Reiterates Resolve to Protect Journalists

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has emphasized the importance of protecting journalists, stating that strict action will be taken against those who have targeted journalist Tayyab Baloch.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Tarar made these remarks in a message on X on Monday, highlighting that the journalist was targeted solely for expressing a dissenting opinion. He condemned such actions as unacceptable and reflective of a mindset of intolerance, particularly when violence is used as a substitute for argument.

Minister Tarar reiterated his unwavering support for journalists, affirming his commitment to standing with them. He assured full support for journalist Tayyab Baloch in this case, underscoring his long-standing advocacy for the rights and safety of media personnel.
