Information Minister Condemns Killing of PML-N Worker in Narowal, PTI Accused of Violence

Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar condemned the killing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) worker Muhammad Yousuf in Narowal. In a statement, the Minister linked the violence to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), accusing the party of resorting to bloodshed and vandalism to manipulate elections.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar stated that the blood of the deceased PML-N worker would not go in vain, promising that those responsible for the murder would be brought to justice. He expressed condolences to Muhammad Yousuf’s family and prayed for a higher status in heaven for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that the killers of Muhammad Yousuf had been arrested. She condemned the hooliganism associated with PTI and said such behavior would not be tolerated. Maryam Nawaz extended her condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of Muhammad Yousuf, pointing out that turning politics into personal enmity and hatred is a significant challenge for society.

The killing of the PML-N worker has added to tensions surrounding the by-elections, with authorities expected to ensure security and pursue justice for the victim.
