Information Minister Tarar Critiques PTI’s Approach to Protests

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of failing to uphold peaceful protest standards. In a statement released on social media platform “X” tonight, Tarar highlighted an incident where participants of a PTI rally reportedly threw stones at police, underscoring the party’s contentious approach to public demonstrations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar’s comments came after a PTI public meeting earlier today where conflicts between protestors and police erupted. The Minister noted that although the situation has since stabilized and peace restored, the events of the day reflect PTI’s general disposition towards aggressive protest tactics rather than peaceful assembly.
