Inter Provincial Athletics and Karate championships will be held on June 04

Lahore, June 03, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Opening Ceremonies of the exciting Inter Provincial U-16 Girls Athletics and U-14 Boys Athletics championship will be held on June 04,2013 at 05:00 PM. Director General Sports Punjab Dr.Mohammed Salah Tahir will be the chief guest on this occasion.Punjab team of girls include Fatima Hussain, Afeera Naz,Javeria Kiran,Zainab Khan ,Amna Yusuf,Asiya Ibraheem ,Mussarat Bibi, Abida Sadiq,Amina Sadiq,Martha Ghafoor,Mehwish Yasin and Sana Hanif will compete for 100 M,200 M,400 M,800 M,Long jump,High jump,Shot put and Javelin Throw.Rizwana Tareen will be the team manager and Khalid Bhatti , the team coach.

The U-14 athletes consists Hamza Jameel ,Mohammed Irfan,Hassaan,Chand Zeb,Umer Farooq, Abu Bakr Akber,Mudassir Mushtaq, Mohammed Irfan, Ali Raza,Ataa ullah Khan, Mohammed Husnain, Hanzala, Abdullah Tahir, Amir Abbas and Chand Waseem will perform their expertise for 100 M,200 M,400 M,1500 M,Long jump,High jump,Shot put and Javelin Throw.

Amanat Gill will be the manager and Fazal Butt will be the coach. On the other hand,the opening of Inter provincial U-14 boys Karate Championship will be held the same day at 12:00 PM at Iqbal Park Sports Complex.Punjab team including Rehan Safdar,Hassan Ali ,Moid, Mohammed Sohail,Syed Kazim Raza,Samiullah Khan ,Akbar Khan ,Shams Usama,Bilal Khan will take part in the following categories ,50 KG,48 Kg,44 KG,40 KG and 35 KG .Mohammed Bashir Butt will be the manager while Abdul Qayum will be the coach.The provincial team from Fata ,KPK,Sindh,Islamabad,Azad Jammu Kashmir and Balochistan will take part in the events which will continue till June 06,2013.
