Interior Minister Calls for Global Action on Peace, Pays Tribute to Pakistani Martyrs

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in a message marking International Peace Day, emphasized the importance of global efforts to achieve lasting peace and harmony. He urged the international community to move beyond verbal commitments and take practical steps towards resolving regional conflicts that continue to disrupt peace worldwide.

According to Press Information Department, Naqvi highlighted the critical role Pakistan has played in promoting global peace, particularly through its participation in United Nations peace missions. He paid tribute to the brave Pakistani soldiers who were martyred while serving in conflict zones, underscoring that their sacrifices in the name of peace will never be forgotten. Naqvi also pointed to the ongoing struggles for peace in regions such as Occupied Kashmir and Palestine, stressing that the silence of global powers is inexplicable in the face of these conflicts.
