Interior Minister Commends Security Forces for Thwarting Terrorist Plot in Qilla Abdullah

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised the security forces for their successful prevention of a terrorist attack at the Gulistan check post in Qilla Abdullah. The minister highlighted the decisive action taken by the forces, which resulted in the elimination of five attackers identified as Khawarji terrorists.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Naqvi expressed admiration for the security personnel’s swift response, which he said stopped a potentially devastating incident. He also honored the bravery of Naik Tahir Khan and Lance Naik Tahir Iqbal, who lost their lives during the confrontation.

Naqvi conveyed his condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, acknowledging the significance of their sacrifice for the country. He emphasized the enduring gratitude of the nation for the martyrs’ contributions to national security, underscoring that their sacrifices would not be forgotten.
