Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Visits Injured Police Officers at PIMS Hospital

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited PIMS Hospital in Islamabad to inquire after the Islamabad Police and Azad Kashmir Police personnel who were injured during recent events in Azad Kashmir. He directed hospital authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical care to the injured officers.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister also instructed the Chief Commissioner and the Inspector General of Police, Islamabad, to extend special care and attention to the Azad Kashmir police personnel. He emphasized that peaceful protest is a fundamental right, but no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.

Mohsin Naqvi stated that a few miscreants, acting on the enemy’s agenda, are attempting to disrupt peace in Azad Kashmir. Currently, thirty-one Islamabad Police officers and twelve Azad Kashmir Police personnel are receiving treatment at PIMS Hospital.
