Interior Minister Opens 24/7 Passport Office in Karachi

Karachi: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated a new passport office at the NADRA Mega Center in Nazimabad, Karachi, which will operate around the clock to facilitate citizens seeking passport services.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the newly opened office will function in three shifts, allowing citizens to apply for passports at any time of the day. This initiative aims to provide greater convenience to the public.

During the inauguration, Interior Minister Naqvi inspected the passport counters and engaged with the staff. He also interacted with citizens at the center, asking about their experiences with passport and ID card services.

The minister addressed issues faced by women undergoing biometric verification for the Benazir Income Support Program. This interaction highlights the government’s focus on improving service delivery for all citizens.

A comprehensive briefing on the operations of the passport office was also presented to the Interior Minister during his visit to the NADRA center.
