Interior Minister Orders Transfer of Injured Police Officer to Lahore for Treatment

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has mandated the urgent transfer of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Muhammad Aleem to Lahore for enhanced medical care. ASP Aleem sustained a significant eye injury due to stone-pelting by assailants and is currently receiving treatment at PIMS Hospital.

According to Press Information Department, Minister Naqvi emphasized that all possible measures will be taken to prevent further damage to ASP Aleem’s eye. The minister has instructed that the officer be moved to a leading private hospital in Lahore to ensure the best possible medical attention. Naqvi personally visited PIMS Hospital to assess Aleem’s condition and expressed a commitment to expediently facilitating his transfer to Lahore for continued treatment.
