International Day of Sign Languages Highlights Deaf People’s Rights

Islamabad:International Day of Sign Languages is being observed today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the theme for this year’s observance is ‘Declaring deaf people’s human rights’.

The day emphasizes the importance of recognizing, protecting, and promoting the rights of deaf individuals, with a particular focus on ensuring full access through national sign languages.
