International Identity Day Marked with Focus on Organ Donor Visibility

Islamabad: Today, International Identity Day is being observed globally, with this year’s theme emphasizing the right of individuals to be visibly recognized for their contributions to society.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted a new initiative in his message for the day: individuals who voluntarily register as organ donors will now have a special logo printed on their National Identity Cards, celebrating their commitment to saving lives.
