International Maritime Sustainability Exhibition to Boost Pakistan’s Economy

Karachi: A three-day International Maritime Sustainability Exhibition and Conference is set to commence in Karachi from September 12 to 14, aiming to enhance Pakistan’s maritime economy through global partnerships and investment opportunities.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmed Shaikh announced during a media briefing that the event would gather leading Pakistani and international maritime companies, policymakers, investors, and stakeholders. The conference is crafted to address and navigate the challenges of the maritime sector while promoting safety and sustainability under the theme “Navigating the Future: safety first.”

The Minister elaborated on the government’s vision for the maritime industry, highlighting the strategic importance of fostering international and regional collaborations to propel economic growth and investment within the sector.
