IPO Pakistan, UMDC join hands to raise awareness on intellectual property rights

The Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) Pakistan and United Medical and Dental College (UMDC) have collaborated to promote awareness about intellectual property rights among medical professionals.

A ceremony in this connection was held in Karachi today (Tuesday).

The initiative is aimed at equipping the next generation of medical professionals, including students, researchers, and technologists with essential knowledge on intellectual property rights.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairperson IPO Pakistan, Farukh Amil, emphasized that protecting national assets through intellectual property protection is crucial for Pakistan’s economic security.

He stressed the importance of empowering youth to safeguard country’s heritage and resources.

An interactive panel discussion was also arranged during the event.
