IPP discusses prevailing situation in IOK

Srinagar, January 20, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party (IPP) in a joint meeting of its Supreme Council and General Council in Srinagar has discussed prevailing situation of the territory.

The meeting presided over by the party Chairman, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, deliberated in detail upon the issues related to the ongoing freedom movement, political situation and party affairs.

The participants resolved to continue the ongoing struggle till the Kashmir dispute was resolved as per the UN resolutions and the Kashmiris’ aspirations. They appealed the people to boycott the forthcoming fraudulent elections in the territory to pay respect to the sacred blood of martyrs and supreme sacrifices.

The meeting was attended by General Secretary, Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, Chief Organizer, Showkat Ahmad Butt, spokesman, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt, Press Secretary, Malik Shabbir, Additional Secretary, Muhammad Ayub Dar, Secretary Islamic Education and Learning, Moulvi Peer Qamar-ud-Din, Secretary Public Contact, Moulvi Adnan Salfi, Secretary Social Issues, Sajad Tantray, Secretary Human Rights, Rauf Kashmiri, Supreme Council members, Nazir Ahmad Sofi, Mohammad Yousuf Mir, Moulvi Mohammad Rafiq Butt and General Council members.
