Iran Expresses Sorrow Over Deaths Due to Floods in Pakistan

Islamabad: Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni held a telephonic conversation with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the floods in Pakistan. The Iranian Interior Minister said they stand with the government and people of Pakistan in this difficult time.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Iranian Interior Minister stated Iran’s readiness to provide all possible assistance to the flood-affected people. The conversation also touched upon the upcoming visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Pakistan on the 26th of this month.
