Iranian Ambassador Discusses Bilateral Trade with Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue Chairman

Islamabad: The Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam, met with the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Mr. Rashid Mahmood Langrial, today at the FBR headquarters in a move to bolster economic ties between the two countries.

According to Federal Board of Revenue, during the meeting, discussions focused on customs, cross-border trade, and management to ensure a smooth flow of bilateral trade. Both sides expressed a commitment to removing obstacles hindering the full potential of bilateral trade, aiming to enhance economic activity between Iran and Pakistan.

It was also decided to establish a sub-committee to further address and resolve customs-related issues, marking a significant step towards strengthening the economic relationships between the neighboring nations.
