Ishaq Dar and Liu Haixing Engage in Talks on Regional Peace and Bilateral Relations

Beijing: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Minister for International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Liu Haixing, in Beijing today. The meeting focused on regional peace, stability, and development, highlighting the enduring strength of the relationship between Pakistan and China.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining strong bilateral ties. A significant outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Communist Party of China and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. This MoU aims to further institutionalize party-to-party exchanges and cooperation, adapting to new circumstances.

In a post on the social media platform X, Ishaq Dar expressed that the signing of the MoU reflects the shared commitment of both political parties to strengthening political dialogue, mutual learning, and strategic understanding.
