Ishaq Dar Emphasizes Economic Growth with Friendly Countries

Islamabad: A meeting of the committee for the upcoming Overseas Pakistanis Conference scheduled this month was held in Islamabad today, with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair. The committee discussed enhancing services and support mechanisms for overseas Pakistanis, with key stakeholders discussing strategic initiatives to streamline engagement and facilitate their contributions towards national progress.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also chaired the 4th inter-ministerial meeting on investment project proposals with friendly countries. The committee reviewed briefs on potential investments in infrastructure, petroleum, trade, and IT. Ishaq Dar directed that selected proposals be finalized, reaffirming Pakistan’s priority to bolster economic, trade, and investment ties with friendly countries. He also reiterated the government’s unwavering focus on enhancing strategic partnerships and fostering cross-sector collaboration.
