Ishaq Dar Expresses Gratitude to UK for Support Amid Flood Crisis

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has expressed his gratitude for the United Kingdom’s solidarity and its readiness to support relief and recovery efforts in the face of recent floods in Pakistan. He conveyed his appreciation during a telephone conversation with British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Lammy.

According to Radio Pakistan, the British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs expressed his condolences over the tragic loss of lives caused by the recent flash floods in Pakistan. He emphasized the United Kingdom’s solidarity with Pakistan during this challenging period.

David Lammy also extended his wishes for a productive visit to London for the Deputy Prime Minister. In response, Ishaq Dar expressed his anticipation for continued engagement with the UK leadership, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in addressing the consequences of the natural disaster.
