Ishaq Dar Extends Congratulatory Phone Call to Commonwealth Secretary General

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke with Secretary General Commonwealth Shirley Botchwey today, extending his congratulations on her recent appointment. He also conveyed Pakistan’s best wishes for her tenure.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, Ishaq Dar invited Shirley Botchwey to visit Pakistan at her earliest convenience. The Secretary General expressed gratitude for the consistent support she received from Pakistan for her election. She also mentioned her anticipation of visiting Pakistan in the near future.
