Islamabad Police Constable Succumbs to Injuries After PTI Protest Attack

Islamabad: Islamabad Police constable Abdul Hameed Shah, who was critically injured during a PTI protest in the city, has died from his injuries. Constable Shah was attacked and severely tortured by protesters at Chungi No 26 while on duty, resulting in injuries that ultimately led to his death today.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Shah, a resident of Abbottabad, had been a dedicated member of the Islamabad Police since 1988 and was set to retire in just three months. His death has cast a shadow over the police force, highlighting the dangers law enforcement officers face during periods of civil unrest.
