Islamabad, Rawalpindi Administrations Deny Reports of Transport Terminal Closures

Islamabad: The district administration of Islamabad has refuted reports regarding the closure of transport terminals in the federal capital. According to a statement posted today on the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad’s X handle, all bus terminals in Islamabad are open and functioning as usual. The administration confirmed that transport operations, including passenger movement, are continuing normally at all bus stands, including Faizabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the administration further stated that there is no disruption in transport services, and all types of public and private transport are operating according to their routine schedules. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hassan Waqar Cheema, on his X handle, has also said that all private, public, and goods transport are operational and permitted in Rawalpindi District. He said the District Administration will promptly update in case of any development in this regard.
