Islamabad to Host Pakistan Mining Investment Forum Next Month

Islamabad: ‘Pakistan Mining Investment Forum’ is set to take place in Islamabad on the 8th and 9th of next month. The event aims to bring together stakeholders to discuss and explore opportunities in Pakistan’s mining sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a preparatory meeting in Islamabad to evaluate the arrangements for the upcoming forum. During the meeting, a detailed briefing was presented covering the objectives, scope, program, and logistical details of the event.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed optimism that the forum would play a crucial role in reshaping Pakistan’s mining sector by encouraging foreign collaboration and strengthening international partnerships. He pledged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ full support to the Petroleum Ministry and other stakeholders to ensure the event’s success.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, Special Secretary Ministry of Interior, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and other officials.
